Convent Street
About
Convent Street is a four-piece Tuscaloosa-based band delivering a high-energy mix of classic rock, Southern rock, and jam-band favorites. Featuring Gri Cashio on vocals and guitar, Taylor Norris on guitar, Carlos Lee on bass, and Michael Mathis on drums, the group brings a fun, guitar-driven sound built for a live crowd.
Formed in fall 2025 for the University of Alabama’s Battle of the Bands, Convent Street quickly realized their chemistry went well beyond the competition. Since then, they’ve become a regular on the Tuscaloosa music scene, performing at local bars, restaurants, venues, and events.
With a setlist rooted in crowd-favorite rock and Southern influences, Convent Street is a great fit for fraternity parties, college events, private events, and venues looking for an energetic live band that keeps the crowd engaged.
